Lily is doing amazing things and is growing into a beautiful little girl. She can roll over both ways, although she rarely rolls from her tummy to her back. Every time we put her on her back she flips onto her tummy within seconds. She is really wanting to start to crawl, and I'm really not ready for that. Our house is not anywhere near baby proof. A couple of times she has gotten her bottom half to figure out crawling and pushed herself around with her arms out to the sides, cheek against the ground. This has resulted in a little bit of rug burn one time and now I haven't seen her do it since. She has also gotten herself up on her hands and knees once or twice. Once she realizes it she promptly falls back down on her tummy and waves her arms and legs and squeals.

She squeals all the time and is giggling a bit more. She is almost always smiling and if she isn't then she is "singing". She does this almost humming sound a lot, particularly when she is tired. There are many times that she sings herself to sleep.

Lily loves solid food. All she has had so far is rice cereal and some pureed sweet potato that I made, but every time I get a bowl out for myself she starts opening her mouth wide. She gets so excited when I put her in her highchair that it is hard to strap her in because she is wiggling and squealing so much.

Selene is starting to pay attention to her a bit more, especially when she rolls too close to Selene's toys. I have got the dog a couple times picking up her toys that she thinks are too close to the baby and moving them to the other side of the room. I am happy right now that she isn't sharing all of her germs with the baby, but I think we are going to have to work wit her a bit to make her realize that the baby can touch the toys too. I don't want her to get too possessive and possibly hurt Lily.

Lily is definitely paying more attention to Selene. She will watch her walk around the room and will reach for her if she comes close. Selene knows just how far away to stand so that Lily can't quite grab her. I have to put the dog outside when I am giving Lily a bottle sometimes because she gets distracted trying to watch the dog.

Hopefully I will get to post pictures soon. Every time I try to I get an error from the website. I have sent a few emails about the problem to the tech guys, but haven't heard anything back. I will also be trying to post more (I know I always say that). I have been having some computer problems at home and I can't update it at work. I will try to use Sean's computer more often to get some posts up for you guys and hopefully some pictures soon.
